COVID Impact on NYC: By the Numbers

  • 730,000 Reported Cases

  • 47,250 Related Deaths

  • The borough of The Bronx, with over half-a-million immigrants, many of whom do not speak English at home, has taken the brunt of the pandemic:  

    • 141,000 Reported Cases

    • 5,900 Related Deaths

  • Communities of color are more than twice as likely to contract COVID.

  • New York City’s 3.1 millions immigrants receiving vaccines at a lower rate than white counterparts.
